This past January, Antimicrobial CSC touch-plates were installed at select LRT transit centres as part of a pilot project with Edmonton Transit Service, ETS. The yellow push-plates are located on entrance and exit swing doors.
To date, push-plates have been installed on doors at Bay/Enterprise Square, Central, University, Health Sciences/Jubilee and Southgate stations with the likelihood of continuous installations until the summer. This pilot project remains to be at no cost to tax-payers.
