Outbreaker Solutions wins Roche Canada COVID-19 challenge

Outbreaker Solutions' antimicrobial CSC was declared a winner in the Roche Canada COVID-19 Open Innovation Challenge. Hoffmann-La Roche Limited (Roche Canada) received over 800 submissions from all across Canada, and have committed $900,000 to fund unique and innovative solutions to COVID-19. 

 

Outbreaker Solutions winning entry was the commercialization of fast-acting surface antimicrobial for high-touch areas. The innovative antimicrobial CSC touch-plates are ideal for high-touch surfaces, as they help to fight the spread of bacteria, virus and fungi from infected persons through touch. Being 100% made of salt, the touch-plates are completely safe to touch, and provide the ideal solution to keep public spaces safe for the community.
